Meet the Author

Schellin has a boisterous and recognizable voice in both her non-fiction and fiction writing that readers find addictive. From stories of her actual dating life to her fictional characters, Schellin never fails to give readers a good laugh and a hell of a ride in her works.

Schellin formerly worked at ESPN as a writer, where her personality began to attract attention online. She is now best known as “Court Does Sports” where she is considered “the queen of babes, booze and ball games.”

Schellin earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College and Bachelor’s degrees in both Journalism and Sport Management from SMU. Schellin was born and raised in Laguna Niguel, California. She loves the outdoors, football, traveling with family, days spent on the water, a good Walla Walla, Washington wine or a cooler of cheap beer. 

Schellin currently resides in Charleston, South Carolina with her German Shepherd, Boone.

Schellin's first published work, is already making waves in the literary world, being described by readers as a laugh out loud ride.

Schellin divulges her steamy and, sometimes brutal, experience in the online dating world during her time in Boston, MA while in grad school during a pandemic. Schellin also dives deep into her relationships over the years and what it's like "dating lemons."
